WHY KZG?
KZG is unquestionably the leader in custom golf equipment. Partnering with the top professional clubfitters in the world, KZG is able to offer golf equipment that simply cannot be beat.
High grade metals, expert craftsmanship, patented technologies and superior designs all cost money. KZG spares no expense and yet is able to offer demonstrably better performing equipment at prices comparable to off the rack prices because they advertise the old fashioned way, by word of mouth, rather than by buying the tour or buying a one hundred million dollar ad campaign.
KZG equipment is further enhanced through expert fitting and building of its clubs to suit the individual golfer. It is unanimous: custom fitted clubs are guaranteed to improve your game. KZG only sells its products through professional clubfitters that have the skill, integrity and passion to fit you properly.
Think about it. Most manufacturers offer you one model of driver ostensibly to fit any golfer whether they are a touring professional like Tiger or a raw beginner. The concept is inconceivable, yet is the norm. At KZG, there are over 10 different models of drivers to suit the needs of every skill, strength, size, preference or budget of the golfer doesn't that make more sense?
And that is only the beginning. KZG offers the widest selection of models in fairway woods, forged irons, cast irons you name it. KZG understands that different folks need different performance from their clubs. The competitive player wants feel, workability, consistency. The beginner wants help getting the ball in the air and to stay in the fairway. We can provide it all easily.
KZGs dedication to the game, its award winning equipment, and its discerning practice of only working with the elite of the professional clubfitters is why touring professionals and avid golfers carry KZG in their bags.
Please come test KZG clubs and be fitted by one of our professional fitters and we guarantee your game will improve.
Everyone at KZG as well as our worldwide network of top professional clubfitters look forward to working with you.
ABOUT TRUE FORGINGS
Oct. 2, 2007 - Forged Frauds
True forgings are triple-forged and hit with a 50 ton air hammer and then CNC made to exact specifications. The result is that all voids (air pockets) and any imperfections in the metal are eliminated, and the molecular structure is so tightly compressed that you get a consistent shot on every hit. The feel of forged is as soft as butter, the workability exceptional. It is these characteristics of consistency, feel and workability that are sought by better players and touring professionals. Because avid players tend to play with forged irons, often in a blade style, many people incorrectly believe that forgings are difficult to play and are not designed for the mid to high handicappers. That is not true. The manufacturing process affects the metal characteristics, whereas the style and design of the iron head affects the playability of the club. And, please don’t be fooled. Many manufacturers mark their clubs “forged” when in fact they are cast and then slightly squeezed under moderately high temperatures. Some of these "fake-forged" clubs are sold under numerous names: “form forged”, “precision forged”, “coin forged”, and sometimes flat out mis-represented as “forged”. We’re amazed at how many people are fooled, even PGA Tour players. After these players hit a true forged iron, they are amazed at the difference in feel, consistency and workability. At KZG, we believe all golfers deserve the right to the finest equipment. We offer many different forged iron sets to suit all handicap groups from the tour player to the low to high handicap player.
